Cooper Martin

Cooper started with Leduc Minor Hockey at the age of 5 and has worn the Roughnecks jersey for the last 12 years. Never taking himself or the sport too seriously, it was his love of the game & the friends made over the years that kept him coming back. Road trips to away games at cold, small town arenas with the best ice are one of Cooper's favorite memories. He would like to thank all his coaches & managers over the years for their time & dedication.

Aiden Nesimiuk

Aiden started playing hockey at the age of 16 and has enjoyed every minute on the ice since. When he was younger, he loved playing with his brothers and friends at the ODR. He has always shown his leadership on and off the ice. Aiden wants to thank his coaches, team mates and family for all of their encouragement and mentorship as he took on a new sport.

After two unforgettable years, it is time for me to hang up my skates from rec hockey.

What started on the outdoor rink eventually led me into U18, and I am so grateful for every moment along the way. The transition from playing for fun outside to competing in U18 brought so many new challenges, memories, and friendships that I will always carry with me.

I want to give a huge thank you to our coaches for your time, dedication, and encouragement. You pushed us to be better players and better teammates every day. And to my teammates, thank you for the laughs, the battles on the ice, and the support through every game and practice. Being part of this team has meant so much.

One of my best memories will always be our tournament and making that incredible run to the end of the U18 playoffs. That experience showed what we could do when we worked together and believed in each other.

Hockey has given me so many great memories, lessons, and friendships that I will never forget. Thank you all for being part of this journey.
