AA Roughneck Fees

  1. LMHA Base Fees - These fees are set annually at the LMHA AGM and reflect the base amount to play hockey in LMHA in a specified age division.  These fees reflect one hour of practice per week and the cost to participate in a recreational league.
  2. LMHA Level Adjustment Fees - These fees are calculated in October/ November by the LMHA Finance Committee and reflect the additional costs to train for and participate in the Association's highest levels of its divisions.  These costs include items such as practice ice in excess of one hour, higher league fees, higher cost of referees for elite level games, team equipment and extra socks.  Once approved these fees are communicated and are typically due in December.
  3. Team Fees - These fees are specific to the operations of the team.  Team fees cover costs of the following items including additional development, team extra ice, tournament entries, buses, team clothing, off-ice training and coach honorariums if required.  These fees are budgeted prior to the start of the season and an estimated amount will be communicated to families before the tryouts.

Teams and parent groups do have an opportunity to support the team and lower player fees by reducing Team Fees through fundraising and corporate sponsorship programs.
