I wanted to provide everyone with an update. I apologize for the length of this email but we have lots to cover!! Our evaluation dates and times are now finalized, though I have been told to give the caveat that they are still subject to change. That being said, these are confirmed with evaluators so it would have to be something big to move them now. Should that happen, any updates will be posted on our Website as well as emailed directly to you.
Evaluation Schedule
Tuesday, September 2 - Goalie Evaluation
Goalies only (plus ONLY confirmed shooters)
7:45-8:45 PM - Wilhauk Arena
U15AA Evaluations - Group Skates
Wednesday, September 3 - Chemco Arena
Skate 1a: 6:15-7:30 PM
Skate 1b: 7:45-9:00 PM
Friday, September 5 - Wilhauk Arena
Skate 2a: 7:15-8:30 PM
Skate 2b: 8:45-10:00 PM
Saturday, September 6 - Wilhauk Arena
Skate 3a: 12:15-1:30 PM
Skate 3b: 1:45-3:00 PM
Players should be ready to skate at either time slot. I will send another email closer to the dates confirming which skate each player is assigned to. There may also be a round of releases following the Saturday grouping.
Sunday, September 7 - Blue vs. White Game
2:15-4:30 PM - Wilhauk Arena
(releases will likely occur after this game, though the final team will not yet be set)
Monday, September 8 - Team Practice
8:15-9:15 PM - Aspen Arena
Check-In Information
All players will be required to check in and get an assigned jersey prior to each skate, as well as return their jersey after each skate. Check-in will take place just outside the entrance to the Wilhauk and Chemco locker room areas, and will open 1 hour prior to each scheduled skate time.

I was just informed of the details last night, so I wanted to pass them along to you right away. Our U15 Checking Clinics begin this Friday. Each player is given two skates, (if they want them. These are not mandatory, but I do recommend them, especially for first year U15 players)— one on Friday, August 22 and one on Saturday, August 23. Reminder that goalies do not attend checking clinics. Also, please have your athletes bring their own jerseys as they will not be handed out prior to checking clinics.
These clinics are included free with LMHA registration. Players are sorted alphabetically by last name.

Coaching Update
At this time, we do not yet have a head coach formally in place. We currently have two excellent parent coach candidates who have applied. In line with LMHA policy, however, we cannot announce a parent head coach until after the 3rd party evaluators confirm their athlete is a lock to make the team. We will wait for that process to be complete before making and announcing the selection.
On the assistant coach front, we are very pleased to share that Cam Villetard will be returning this year. Cam was our defensive Assistant Coach last season and did an outstanding job developing our blue line — his knowledge, teaching style, and commitment were a real asset to the group.
We’re also excited to bring back our team trainer, Skyler Humphreys. Skyler is a registered massage therapist here in Leduc with a strong background in the team trainer environment. Her expertise in player health, recovery, and overall support will continue to be an important part of our program.
Shooters for Goalie Evaluation
I am still looking for shooters to help with our goalie evaluations. Players who volunteer will receive one hour of credit toward their volunteer requirements. This is a great way to knock out an easy hour of volunteering! If your child is interested, please let me know asap.
