LMHA AA Program Announces 2026–27 U18AA Head Coach

May. 15, 2026

The Leduc Minor Hockey Association (LMHA), AA Program, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Lemay as Head Coach for the 2026–27 U18AA team.

Rick brings a wealth of experience to the program, both as a player and a coach. His playing career saw him advance to the Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League (RMJHL), now known as the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL), where he competed with the Nelson Leafs. Following his playing career, Rick has been actively involved in coaching within LMHA at multiple levels, gaining valuable experience in player development and team leadership.

Rick’s coaching philosophy aligns closely with the values of the LMHA AA Program. He is committed to fostering both high performance on the ice and the development of respectful, driven, and well-rounded young athletes. His focus on character, accountability, and growth will be a strong asset to the U18AA program.

LMHA would like to thank Rick for accepting this role and stepping into this important leadership position. We look forward to seeing him guide the U18AA team through a successful and rewarding 2026–27 season.
